Note: An Urdu Introduction follows this English Text:
Dr. Nawab Zada Mirza Jameeluddin Ahmed Khan Aali has a special message for all Pakistanis. This is very relevant today, in the confused state of Power Politics and struggles taking place in Pakistan now.
Aali Jee has very kindly consented to talk to You, through Justuju Tv. This presentation, prepared under the Justuju programs titled "Best Friend+Living Legend", is the first part of his sweet talks.
Aali Jee was born on January 20, 1925 in Delhi, British India. In spite of his advanced age today, he remains very active and relatively agile for his age group. His fiery love for Pakistan keeps him going.
You too can instill such a lively spirit in yourself, and follow his role model of an ideal Pakistani. All you have to do is just read and listen to his enchanting poetry, which is also a hallmark of his magical Pakistani national songs. Aali Jee can rightly be called "Babae Urdu Saani" for his lifetime services rendered to the National Language of Pakistan.
He has been instrumental in establishing the first Urdu University in Pakistan, form a Writers Guild, assisted in Urdu Lughat Board, translated over 80,000 Urdu words and phrases for use in day to day official correspondence, and is a life time Honorary Secretary of "Anjuman Taraqqee Urdu". He has written and published many books of poetry, literary critiques, and travelogues. He has been writing columns in Jang daily news paper, since 1963. His most prolific literary achievement is his long philosophical poem "Insaan" (The Man), written in somewhat Kahil Jibran style. Though he clarifies that his inspiration did not come from Jibran. He thought about it in 1943, first published its early parts in 1949, and now it is available in a book form. It contains over 12,000 poetic lines about the man and his universe.
A very young Aali Jee loved a girl, to whom he is 5 years younger, and he is happily married to her since 1944. Aalis have 3 sons and two daughters.
In this episode, he explains the tune of his famous song "Itnay Baray Jeewan Sagar Main Tu Nai Pakistan Diya".
Aali Jee has a beautiful voice, a good sense of music, and above all he is never shy of reciting his songs for you, when it is a matter of motivating the new Pakistani generation too.
Here you can hear him singing this great national song, and also listen to it from the Sindhi folk lore legend of "Allan Faqir", who has performed it very well for you.
This episode is in Urdu, with English sub-titles for the song, which has been translated by Justuju Tv for you.
